Piston Cooling with BLP Oil Spray System
KB has always liked the idea of cooling the underside of the piston. Anything to keep the top of the piston below 600 degrees reduces the chance of detonation. Oil jet cooling reduces the temperature of the whole piston and was originally developed for lubricating wrist pins. The tool sold by BLP is something every engine builder should have in their tool box. BLP can be reached for more information and applications. Phone 1-800-624-1358.
